While I was away, I can tell you for free that Nigerians have been through a lot both home and abroad. From the harsh economic realities at home that pushed people to the streets (Nationwide protests), to the treatment we got from other African countries even on social media.

Let me bring you up to speed with all the juicy bits you’ve missed out on this past month.

VDM vs Prophet Fufeyin

Not minding the N1 billion lawsuit, the ongoing court proceedings and threats from other religious circles on social media, controversial activist Verydarkman, isn’t done experimenting with Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin’s miracle products.

VDM took to the streets to give the supernatural products to physically challenged individuals and no miraculous results occurred contrary to the prophet’s claim that it could cure numerous illnesses.

The clergyman has since stopped the sales of his supernatural items on his website.

FG And The Minors

It seems we would not be seeing Nigerian schooled 19-year-old graduates anytime soon as the FG through its minister of education, Tahir Mamman has confirmed that children under 18 are no longer eligible to take Senior School Certificate Examinations (SSCE), WAEC and NECO.

This tweet inspired other South Africans who also went about doing the same until Nigerians decided to defend their own and brought guns to a knife fight.

Nigerians outdid themselves, ordering for goods and “services” with the promise of payment on delivery, they ended up creating surge, scarcity, confusion and nearly wrecking businesses.

Anyway, South Africans have come online to apologize and extend an olive branch

Our Nigerian social media Batman is unrelenting as he boldly took on the villains of the entertainment industry in Nigeria, who had showered the mummy of Lagos with cash while he/she was away in prison, especially celebrities like Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, Tonto Dikeh, etc.

He claimed they were encouraging the wrong things and financing societal anomalies as this show of kindness might pass the wrong message to the younger generation who look up to them as role models.
